Mojmír Ranný
In the spring of 1989 he used the market opportunity and set up his own studio, Ranný Architects, that was a natural continuation of his previous activities in the field of architecture. A highly qualified team of architects and engineers in this company are benefiting from their experience and skills in ergonomics, ecology and manufacturing technologies, with emphasis on achieving the highest possible quality by ensuring exceptional design. The company’s years of experience gave rise to its own furniture product line that met with great success on the Czech market.
"Quality design is made when one saturates the combination of separate elements to achieve a state of harmonic satisfaction of feelings and senses. I am viewing my designs from a sculptor's point of view in the same way as Noguchi and make my strongest effort to achieve superior design in the sculptural sense of the word. I am mostly inspired by Scandinavian, German, Italian and Japanese design, as I am convinced that this is where design is born.
